music is something i've gotten more into as i've gotten older and my family got a spotify account (although i'm the only one who uses it)
recently, i also got an mp3 player and i've been trying to go through my favorite songs/artists/albums to download everything (a lot of work good lord)
ALBUMS
OF COURSE THERE'S A MITSKI ALBUM ON HERE!!!! "goodbye my danish sweetheart" was the first mitski song i really liked, i don't remember how i found it, but i remember loving the guitar. it sounds so bittersweet to me? and her voice sounded so smooth and sweet. i remember trying to sing it when i was maybe 11 and good lord i sounded bad back then but.
"because dreaming costs money my dear" is probably my current favorite on the album (because i'm basic). idk i feel like it conveys the experience of wanting to pursue art but knowing it's unviable and pursuing it despite that...
"i want you" and "square" are also favorites off this album. fuck i love mitski.
i am the dog is probably my favorite sir chloe album? i love the production on it, it feels so bright???
i love the synths, they sound so dull and neon at the same time?? idk how to describe it.
this is my favorite arctic monkeys album. i really like the old arctic monkeys stuff, the music sounds much less "clean" than it does in their later albums. it reminds me a little of nashimoto-p's music.
i love smiling broadly!! i love the distortion on her work and the way the vocals are kind of?? buried?? this was the first music i heard that had so much distortion and i really want to listen to more.
"fake blood recipe" and "your touch freaks me out <_>" are my favorite songs off this album (although "puke 106% true speed" is absolutely my favorite smiling broadly song)
okok i know this is a basic pick from roar but i love "just a fan" and "heart for brains" along with the other music on the album.
